Lower Minnamurra Falls sits within Budderoo National Park, featuring a 4.2-kilometre rainforest loop walk on formed pathways and boardwalk, including a suspension bridge with some steep sections. The walk passes cool streams lined with mossy rocks and feathered ferns, reaching a lookout with stellar views of the lower and upper waterfalls. The Lower Falls plunge into a narrow, deep, seemingly bottomless chasm. Since opening to visitors in 1896, the falls have been a beloved destination, with best visits during autumn (April-August) for lyrebird displays.

Beautiful family friendly walk through the river and rainforest. Waterfall was lovely and worth the steep walk up. Loop took me about an hour, which is less than sign posts of 2 to 3 hours suggested time. Parking was $12 to National Parks. Got there around 1pm, the road directs you to top car park, which was full, but lower car park was empty and closer to walk. They are currently renovating cafe. Will be better experience once there is food available.

Iβve visited Minnamurra Rainforest more than once and it never disappoints. The rainforest is beautiful, peaceful and well maintained, with boardwalks that take you through some stunning scenery. The sounds of birds, running water and the forest itself make it a relaxing experience. The walk gave me a good workout, but every time I visit I discover something new. Whether youβre there for photography, fitness or simply to enjoy nature, itβs definitely worth the trip.

What a surprise this walk was I canβt believe I havenβt done it before. We came here with our toddler on the ANZAC public holiday Monday and didnβt expect it to be such a delightful walk and a great day for it as well. Even though our toddler was only three years old, he still managed to do all of the library walk and also got to the waterfall and back with us only carrying him for a little bit. Highly recommend for the family and as a picnic area too that you could have barbecue at and enjoy some food and festivities. Beautiful spot lovely nature and we saw some birds so they delivered on the name for sure.

A place worth visiting, for all .. the boardwalk is well made n maintained. Pay for full day carparking $12 per car. Card accepted. Last entry 4pm & no entrance fee. Visitor centre & toilet facilities are well maintained . No cafe onsite . Rainforest Walk is easy with moderate elevation - met few Lyrebirds along the way . Fall walk is steep n dirt track ( did not attempt due to weather and time factor )

Can't say in words the place is amazing. The walking path is well paved and maintained. Kids above 6 or 8 years would walk easily. Prams not recommended. Don't push yourself in reaching early. Take your time, sit a min, relax enjoy around and walk. We were lucky to see 2 Lyre bird. Great experience for kids to show the beauty, the complex ecosystem of nature. Walk lightly with just water and a light snack.
