Lower Glenelg National Park in Victoria's Western District encompasses 27,300 hectares of protected landscape featuring 50-meter limestone cliffs, the Princess Margaret Rose Cave, and the scenic Glenelg River Gorge along 15km of spectacular gorge views. Over 700 plant species and abundant native fauna including red-necked wallabies, kangaroos, koalas, and emus inhabit the park, with recreational opportunities including fishing (freshwater and saltwater), boat launching, water skiing in designated zones, and walking trails. Located in Aboriginal cultural country of the Gunditjmara People and accessible via Nelson, it's one of Victoria's most spectacular natural destinations.
