I had the best experience at Little Sahara Adventure Centre! It was so cool taking a buggy around the sand and learning more about the local ecosystem. Big thanks to Aldis, my fantastic guide, for being so knowledgeable and answering the many questions I had. It was such a unique experience getting to see the sand dunes, ocean, and bush all in the same space, as well as a bunch of bees and some koalas!

On our recent visit to Kangaroo Island, we participated in a very enjoyable activity! We had no idea that there were amazing sand dunes in from the coast. We had the best fun on a guided buggy tour through these sand hills. Our guide, Claire, was wonderful. She ensured we were wearing the necessary safety gear, and went through the all the safety advice, before we jumped in the buggy and took off to search for koalas in the wild. We were successful in spotting numerous koalas, but really enjoyed the thrill of negotiating the steep dunes and crossing the creeks. It was so much fun! We really appreciated Claire's care and consideration for us, as Senior ladies. For younger adventurers, the guided quad bike tours would have to be a must-do activity!

I can’t recommend this buggy tour enough! From start to finish, everything was fantastic. A huge shout-out to our guide, Aldis β€” he truly made the experience special. Aldis gave us a very thorough and clear safety briefing, making sure everyone felt comfortable and confident before we set off. During the tour, he spotted a wild koala for us and patiently explained its natural habitat and behavior. He also introduced us to many different types of trees along the way, which made the journey both fun and educational. What touched us most was how attentive Aldis was to our family’s needs. Since our English isn’t very strong, and two of our elderly family members had difficulty following along, Aldis kindly slowed down his speaking pace so that everyone could understand everything. He also took beautiful photos of us throughout the tour β€” such a thoughtful gesture! This buggy tour was absolutely worth every penny. Thank you, Aldis, and thank you to the whole team for such a wonderful desert adventure. We will never forget it!

An Unforgettable Adventure Full of Hidden Gems Our adventure with Little Sahara was nothing short of extraordinary! From start to finish, it was a day filled with discovery, excitement, and unforgettable moments. A huge shoutout to our guide, Fox, absolutely exceptional! Fox was knowledgeable, humorous, and incredibly experienced, bringing every part of the journey to life. His passion and storytelling made the entire experience even more special. Especially about the fires that occurred 6 years ago and the lives it lost and the regrowth that happened. We were lucky enough to see koalas in their natural habitat, which was truly magical. Spotting a goanna for the first time was another highlight, and getting to touch and smell native tea tree added a unique sensory experience we didn’t expect. Driving across the Sahara-like terrain was thrilling yet smooth, and the untouched beach we visited was simply out of this world,Β  pristine, peaceful, and breathtaking. So many hidden gems packed into one incredible day, all made even better by Fox’s guidance and energy. Thank you, Fox, you’re a natural! Keep up the amazing work in creating such memorable experiences for your guests. Highly recommend this adventure to anyone visiting!

We did the 3 hour guided buggy tour and all had an amazing time. Aldis was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable in the local plants, animals, geography, and history. We all learnt so much. We saw many koalas and got some great photos of them living their best lives. The track was bumpy but this was to be expected, and the buggy having very good suspension coupled with an excellent driver in Aldis made the ride a lot smoother than the surface would visually indicate. Access to a beach that is otherwise inaccessible added to the wonderment of the tour, then finishing with a drive around the sand dunes was perfection. Highly recommended, the memories of this day will far outweigh the financial cost of the experience.
