Part of Queensland's UNESCO World Heritage Gondwana Rainforests, Lamington National Park spreads across the Lamington Plateau of the McPherson Range 110km south of Brisbane, featuring lush subtropical rainforest, scenic mountain vistas and over 160km of walking tracks. The park's numerous waterfalls including Elabana Falls, Toolona Falls and others cascade through rainforest populated by threatened bird species, with trails ranging from short walks to challenging all-day adventures through booyongs, figs and brush box flanking creek lines.
