We absolutely loved our stay at Lake Sambell Caravan Park! We had a powered site, and the lovely staff provided us with a tv aerial (to watch the football World Cup) for a $20 cash deposit that we got back upon returning it on check out. They also organised a drum, a bag of timber, kindling and fire starters for a really decent price so we could have a fire. The parks’ location is brilliant. A gorgeous, easy, 15-20 minute walk along the lake to town where everything is then at your fingertips. Beechworth has been one of our favourite stops on our roadtrip so far and we are already excited to come back and stay here again.

What a fabulous caravan park & a great location. We stayed on a lake site and loved everything about it. The gravel and mat site was great in the wet, we also loved having the 'rustic' but beautifully cleaned amenities block near by. Alternatively we could have used the main block just as short walk away. The whole park was very well maintained. Nothing was too much effort for the staff. Julie even loaned my dog a coat as I left his at home. The boys helped us to park in and promptly bought our wood and fire pit. The walks around the park were great. We really do want to come back again. Thanks to the team for our stay.

Have a very enjoyable stay at Beechworth Lake Sambell Caravan park In the lovely town of Beechworth. Everything within walking distance and so Much to explore in this amazing country side with many local cafes, brewery’s, pubs and the famous Beechworth bakery. Local attractions and history to research into and explore and many walking and bike tracks to enjoy. The Caravan park is in a great location with beautiful lake views and lots of open grassed areas. The caravan park is immaculately kept, all the amenities that you need to enjoy a great stay and very friendly staff. We stayed on a powered slab site and it was great with plenty of room and all services. On arrival a staff member will take you to your site and assist you with backing it in (this was great service and saved arguments ☺️). We stayed during winter and the weather was just amazing, cold yes but so lovely that you can have a fire pit on your site to relax and keep warm. Being pet friendly too so we could bring along our fur baby to enjoy the trip with us is a positive. Throughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning again one day. If you’re thinking of staying at Beechworth Lake Sambell Caravan park, you will have a great stay.

Such a fabulous park. Great location and the amenities were spotless. Walking distance to Beechworth township and surrounded by beautiful walking/riding tracks. Staff go above and beyond, even helping my young son dig for worms to fish. Staff have great local knowledge in regards to the best way to fill in your time. I haven’t stayed at a caravan park with such attentive staff. One of our favourite parks in north east Victoria and definitely worth heading to. Highly recommend, we will be back

I’ve stayed at many caravan parks across Australia, but this one truly stands out as one of the best. Everything is spotless — the park itself, the bathrooms, and the showers are all exceptionally clean. I especially loved the quality of the linens. The cabins are well-maintained, and it’s fantastic that some of them are pet-friendly. The lake views are absolutely breathtaking, and the fresh air is incredible.
