Our stay at Lake Placid Rainforest Retreat was one of many highlights of our trip. We originally planned to stay just one night, but after unexpected RV troubles, we needed to book a second night at the last minute. We were stressed and unsure of what to do, especially with everything changing so late in the day, but the staff were incredibly kind, accommodating, and quick to help us secure a spot. The grounds were clean, peaceful, and very well maintained, and the whole property felt safe and welcoming. Their café was also absolutely wonderful. The lady working there was so friendly, warm, and accommodating, and she made breakfast on our first day such a lovely experience. We had some dietary restrictions in our group, and she was more than happy to help with options for everyone. This stay was such a relief during a chaotic moment of our trip, and easily one of our favourite places we stayed.

My site is mowed clean tidy with a lovely view to the mountains close to the camp kitchen and pool as requested . Upon my arrival yesterday the reception staff were welcoming helpful and of good humour . Which is important to me . This park has large sites with well kept gardens . The modern attractive spotless amenities are excellent. The large pool is one of my favourite in this area . A modern well kept camp kitchen and bar b q area tops off this excellent Park . Thank you to the owners & staff your care & hospitality is truly appreciated . Cheers Michelle

This park has nice big caravan sites and the amenities we cannot fault them. Cleanest we've been in so far. Staff were so friendly and helpful, they made our stay a delight. I would certainly recommend this park to anybody wanting a quiet stay.
