I've wanted to stay here for many years and finally got the chance on the Kalbar Sunflower festival weekend. Location is beautiful nestled between mountains and the lake. Facilities are fine although for an incredibly busy weekend, only 1 side of the ladies bathrooms was open at one time. They are cleaned in the morning and by midday, they could definitely do with another clean. Maybe put in a floor squidgy or mop and get people to mop the shower floors after use? Works well at other campground I've been to. Kitchen has microwave, kettle, sinks, and hot plate/grills and plenty of seating. The lake was bit sludgy and not appealing for swimming which was disappointing. Plenty of people out on jetskis and boats though. The only thing that let down this experience for me was some other campers to be honest. Long weekends bring loud, inconsiderate groups of which you just couldn't escape wherever you decided to pitch the tent. Otherwise, a beautiful spot.

Beautiful place and good amenities but to get to the lake there is a lot of mud and seaweed and there is no jetty’s, also a lot LOT of bugs in the kitchen - and people are wearing covid masks and googles because it’s so bad 1/10 kitchen. Bugs are also all over the showers and toilets later than 5:30 so unless you want to shower with bugs all over you I do not recommend

Just had 2 nights at Lake Moogerah Caravan Park. The first was very pleasant and the second (a Saturday night) was a night from hell to be blunt. A group a young men who had been cautioned through the day for excessive noise and dangerous use of a jetski (some of it while drinking alcohol) went on till 3am with excessive noise, bad language and aggressive behaviour amongst themselves. The police came at approximately 12.30pm and took one away while the others continued to torture campers trying to sleep. On contacting the park I was advised that there is an after hours number to ring when these events occur. Definitely worth knowing as many of the campers rang the office number which is not transferred to the after hours no. Other than the behaviour of a few campers, the park is well equipped, reasonably clean amenities and bins all emptied. Staff very approachable and pleasant but an experience I would not want to repeat.

Bathrooms were nicely cleaned on the day i checked out so, sadly i missed it. It was so clean to a point they look newly renovated. The male cleaner doing the female bathroom cleaning on friday morning 27/2 deserves a pay raise;)

This is my second time here, love the facilities hot showers and big camp kitchen with BBQ and fridges. Awesome swimming and kayaking. Owner was pleasant and helpful. Nice place to spend a couple of nights.
