Lake Maroon Camping Ground is situated on the south side of Maroon Dam, 30km south of Boonah in the Scenic Rim region of Queensland (despite database location as NSW North Coast). Two camping areas—Billabong and Maroon Cove—each accommodate multiple families per site. Amenities include toilets, drinking water, BBQ areas, powered sites, and swimming. Fires are permitted. Dogs are allowed (maximum 2 per site, on leash). Excellent rock fishing opportunities exist for Queenfish and Trevally; car-topper boats access the inlet for Mangrove Jack fishing.
