This review is for a weekday stay at the Bunuru Bush Camp. It was a really peaceful campground and we enjoyed our 3 night stay here. Friendly staff. Level, shady and spacious bush site with a picnic table and a fire pit. The camp kitchen and drop toilets were spotlessly clean. Good walk tracks are laid out around the park and the dam. Fishing is allowed in the dam (with licence). We definitely saw a few trout but no luck with catching any - maybe next time.

Review is about the glamping tents for couples, not families, as it was a little hard to find info about this. The good: glamping tent was beautiful in March (max temp around 28 degrees) and no issues sleeping. the room has 8x wall plugs, a mini fridge, a kettle, a coffee machine, and is stocked with nespresso pods, tea, sugar, towels, and a little long life milk. the bed was very comfortable and had extra blankets if needed, and there was plenty of room for two people. the views are beautiful and there are many lovely walks to go on. You do need to get water and bring it back, but it’s 50m walk max - no worries at all. The bad: Toilets and showers near the glamping tents are a little squishy, you will likely struggle if you have mobility issues and have to go to another toilet block. The park itself is very noisy, really due to the most inconsiderate people you’ll ever find at a campground, mostly in the lake adjacent to the glamping tents but also throughout the campground itself. I knew this when booking, this is my second visit, it’s still worth it despite the many people blaring music, revving their engines, and screaming well past 10pm at night. Not the fault of the park, but something to be aware of if you’re envisioning a serene stay. Overall I do love this place, glamping tents are well worth the low nightly fee, but be prepared to deal with the riff raff.

We just returned from a weekends stay here on a site with power and water. The site was a great size for our van and there was a nice distance between sites, so while it was fully booked on our first night, it didn't feel too busy. The staff were amazing, after having a slight issue with some facilities they were more then happy to help and went above and beyond to resolve the problem. The lake was busy, however still able to find a spot to take our little dogs for a swim to cool off and burn some energy. Being just over an hour and a half from home, we will definitely be returning. We look forward to coming back.

Had a nice few days at the Tourist park. The location is ideal as it is only a short trip away. The area is ideal for water sport enthusiasts. Staff were very friendly, a big thanks to Alistair that helped us out with a few things. We found the ablutions were in need of a good clean on a few occasions which is the main reason for 3 stars. The caravan park area is quite tight to get around and several sites were not level and required levellers or airbags. Certainly a nice pleasant stay, and the cafe area was busy with good food and drink options

Took the family for a Christmas camping trip and stayed at Lake Brockman on one of the unpowered camper trailer site and its pet friendly. Loved the location as we were in amongst the trees. Close to but not on top of the toilets and camp kitchen. Showers where pretty great for camp showers and the water was always perfect temperature. We even used the camp kitchen for our larger meal making and lived that we could store our extra fruit in the shared fridge. The dam is beautiful, only down fall is I forgot my reef shoes and the ground is very rocky. The whole family enjoyed swimming and Kayaking. Would've been nicer if there was an exclusion zone close to camp for launching boats and jet skis as we had a few come alwfuly close to us. We got to cycle through the forest all the way to the bridge and that was so much fun. Got a chance to grab a quick bite at the café and enjoyed the bacon egg roll and chips. Their little shop sells everything you could possibly forget to pack and more. Great interaction with ground staff and café staff. Will note there is no signal for none Telstra users (love that my kids where tech free 😀) Will definitely be back
