This is a quiet beach. If u look really hard u will see 2 dorsal fins just the other side of the people. Yes we were fortunate enough to see dolphins. There were also sail boards that did some amazing tricks, great surprise. Go have a look, maybe u will be lucky too.

Koombana Beach is one of those places where you show up thinking “quick beach stop”… and then suddenly you’re emotionally invested in spotting dolphins like it’s your full-time job 😂 The beach itself is honestly beautiful. Calm water, super relaxing vibes, the kind of place that makes you feel like you’ve accidentally made a good life decision just by being there. Then someone says “there are dolphins here” and that’s it… your entire personality for the next hour is scanning the horizon 👀🐬 You’ll see every wave and be like “IS THAT ONE??” Spoiler: 80% of the time, no. But when you actually spot one, you act like you just discovered a new species. Perfect spot to chill, walk around, and pretend you’re a wildlife expert for a bit. Just be prepared… you might stay 10 minutes, or you might stay until your neck hurts from looking at the water 😅

Great place for cruising on Dolly Dolphinmobile. This is a perfect place to hop on this vehicle and see the full area that dolphins frequently visit. Great for big and little kids. It’s the place to start your journey and explore other attractions nearby. You can get a coffee and/or snack to take onboard and enjoy the changing scenery. Soak in the culture and hear some history of the area. #thingstodoinbunbury#chariotcharters

A very nice beach in the CBD. Glorious views. Safe to swim even for young kids. Rarely any waves. Dolphins are frequently seen here. The only downside is that the water is often not transparent. Great facilities: playground, showers, tables. We often come to spend a relaxed evening here.

Beautiful beach in the beautiful coastal town of Bunbury, WA. There are ample shaded spots to relax, the water is calm and welcoming, there are play areas and my mini train rides for the kids, nice amenities, and a nice cafe just off the beach 🏖️
