Loved our time here! Fabulous location, right next door to incredible playground if you have kids. Coffee fabulous at cafe! We felt safe with coded boom gates and the reminder sms every night too was a great personal touch to put things away. Pool could do with some love with the mosaic tiles coming off but minor comment.

Great few days at this park. Had some fridge trouble and grateful to have day access to store our food whilst fridge was being replaced. JK adventure co came to the party and did a fantastic job installing a new fridge and getting us back on the road. Very appreciative of their hard work.

Had a caravan spot, as off season they made sure vans used every second spot so not too close. Loved the pool. Amenities clean. On lake shore so nice views. Massive Baobab trees there. Also cheeky cockatoo ready to chat.

Too much staff created noise . This is the second time staying here but unfortunately our last . We have been rudely woken up on multiple occasions on our stay to staff driving their very loud ride on lawn mowers or their extremely loud engine work buggy that they use around the park (sometimes as early as 7.30am) . Whatever happened to having a lie in especially on a weekend ? It completely takes away our right to enjoy the peace and amenity of this park. We get it that grounds maintenance has to happen but being considerate about this and operating loud and heavy machinery/vehicles at more appropriate times (eg afternoons and/or weekdays ) wouldnβt go unappreciated. The Cockatoo (Popeye) that is living in a small cage by the pool is just plain animal cruelty. I went through the previous reviews just to make sure it wasnβt just us thinking this and itβs clear many guests have given similar feedback. Nobody cares how this bird came into your care and whether you bought Popeye or were selected to be a custodian . What guests care about are how you are actually treating this bird that is in your care now . You have mentioned that he is old and wonβt survive in the wild and that he is well looked after. However, this is not an excuse to keep him locked up like that all day long thinking that giving him food and water is suffice. Actions speak louder than words and all we saw was a frustrated bird stuck in his small cage all day long. We found this to be plain animal cruelty in sight and the fact that the owners havenβt taken this feedback seriously (despite multiple guest concerns) is shameful .
