We had a lovely stay at Kennett River Family Caravan Park. The location is absolutely beautiful, right across from the beach, which made it such a relaxing place to unwind. The beach itself was a real highlight, the children loved exploring the rock pools and were especially excited to find crabs and a starfish. The sites were spacious, which we really appreciated, and the staff were warm and welcoming throughout our stay. The amenities stood out too, the bathrooms felt homely and were kept very clean, and the camp kitchen was incredibly useful. I didnβt have a fridge, and an esky wasnβt quite enough to keep food cool, so having access to the kitchen made a big difference. Over the Easter weekend, there were also lots of activities for the kids, which made the stay even more special. They even hosted a one-man band fundraiser for the Wye River floods, which created such a lovely community feel and was a really memorable part of our trip. The only reason for one less star was the fire pit rules. Open fire pits werenβt allowed and had to be fully enclosed with a chimney. We didnβt have one and didnβt want to spend hundreds of dollars to buy one just to sit around a fire for the weekend, which was a bit disappointing. Overall though, itβs a beautiful spot with lots of friendly people, and we really enjoyed our time there. We had a wonderful time at Kennett River Caravan Park.

Kennett River family caravan park Great ocean road Victoria - very bad customer service and particularly as a Gβday caravan park - of which we are members FYI - for fellow travellers to and from Tasmania - we have spent last 6 wonderful weeks in Tasmania and are travelling back on Spirit on Friday - we planned to take 3 weeks to get back to WA our first stop being Kennett River CP but have made the responsible decision to head straight home due to potential fuel supply issues - so have ring to cancel our booking with Kennett River - we paid full $ for 4 days at Kennett River $292.50 - instead of the deposit of one night - and have asked for a refund of 3 days due to the changed circumstances and they have refused to repay any of our $!!! The Manager said an absolute no even tho we paid the full amount 4 months ago. It is very disappointing and just adds to our financial burden with increased fuel cost to get home Shame on you

Such a shame they reintroduced a no dog policy which will force us to stay elsewhere. This is a great little park in an awesome location so shame we canβt return. A lot of empty sites at the moment so maybe weβre not the only ones disadvantaged

We took got a last minute unpowered pitch, morning or evening shade available, we chose morning shade by the road but no traffic between 6 til 6, very quiet, friendly staff, ice machine, free clean camp kitchen, electric bbq. Lots of birds, and Roos and Koala's in the area, all wild!. Good surf Beach 90 ft across the road, site has good wetsuit rinsing area. Looks like a fav spot with older surfers, chilling , wish I could have joined them. Rainbow lorikeets joined us for breakfast! Would stop every month if we could.
