Love the venue, clean ammenities, camping options. Had awesome pizzas in the past which inspired me to return. Unfortunately sooo disappointing this time… pizza base was delicious but practically no ingredients on pizza. Notified the waitress but all she could come up with was sorry to hear that…. So service this time also gets only 1 star just because they turned up..

Would rate this 0 stars if Google allowed me too. Firstly, Jacqui and her husband, the owners of this campground. My experience involved absolutely TERRIBLE customer service and very poor management and communication services. I arrived "late" to a 1 night booking as I had my own priorities to handle that night, like anyone does, as I'd tried to explain, & I was met with a "you're not staying here tonight anymore because you rocked up late and woke us up", this was after I had contacted them on their after hours contact number. Not sure why they have this number available at all if this was the reaction I was met with. I then tried to explain myself and my situation that night, and was met with a very hostile tone, by Jacqui and then her husband, and then I was abruptly hung up on, and was told I would not be refunded either. The rest of my calls after were then ignored. This was VERY unprofessional to say the absolute least, and no doubt very very poorly handled on their end. Completely disrespectful no doubt. Jacqui and her husband essentially denied a lone young travellor, who was trying to do the right thing by local council/free camping laws, and was left to the street, which then I had to drive in the pouring rain late at night through the wet, windy and slippery roads to find an "illegal" roadside camp spot to stay instead. - all for an unpowered, $25/night site, which could have been resolved in 1-2 minutes over the call I made whilst I was at their front boom gate, but this was solved with the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I called again a few days later requesting a refund and was denied because again, "I woke them up late at night" and then once again, I was hung up on by Jacqui. Good on you guys. Really setting a new standard of business/customer service here. I would HIGHLY recommend booking at Noahs Campground, Bloomfield, the Safari Lodge, or at the Daintree Rainforest Village, or the Siesta accommodation. I had great experiences dealing with these companies when it came to enquiring and booking reliable, safe and honest accommodation. Book anywhere else but Cape Trib Camping. These people are not worth your time, care or money. Im an honest man, im just stating facts here. Cape Trib Camping, doesnt even deserve 1 star in my opinion. Good on yas, real true blue Aussie spirit here. (NOT) πŸ‘ŒπŸΌπŸ‘ŽπŸ» Cheers all! Happy Camping/Travelling!

This is a fantastic location with the beach on your doorstep! We camped on one of the premium powered sites with our caravan and the sites were very spacious. We also had our own access straight to the beach! The amenities were very clean. We found the staff very friendly and helpful! The restaurant serves up awesome meals and we had some woodfired pizzas. We will definitely be back!

We want to say a huge thank you to Jackie the campsite owner/manager for being absolutely amazing in helping us get out of the Daintree during the river flooding that disrupted the car ferry. She was informative and very considerate, managing to get us on passenger boat the very next morning. Definitely went above and beyond to help us. The campsite itself is spacious, has beautiful scenery right by the beach, modern facilities and a lovely pizza bar on site. A great stay if you’re up in Cape Trib. We’ll be back again but in the dry season this time! πŸ˜€

Good camping very quiet and foots from the beach. There is no pool. I don’t know why there is some pictures of it. You can’t swim in the sea because of crocodiles. The restaurant seems lovely. Amenities were very clean and well maintained. Showers were hot and perfect. Would recommend and go back.
