About Jumrum Creek Conservation Park
Jumrum Creek Conservation Park is located 27 kilometres north-west of Cairns within Kuranda village and protects a small pocket of dense rainforest along Jumrum Creek. The park features boardwalks and graded paths through vine-entwined mesophyll vine forest before it flows into the nearby Barron River. The park is home to the critically endangered Kuranda treefrog, found only in a small area around Kuranda, and is an important cultural site for the Djabugay people, the Aboriginal Traditional Owners.
