Lovely area with nice views. We planned on doing the long 16km loop but discovered the loop isn’t signposted to run anticlockwise. Wet realised this once already starting and getting lost. Bit disappointing and ruined our planned walk. But still got some Steps in and the sun was shining.

A Beautiful LARGE park with very well maintained walking and cycling tracks. Very family friendly and really is a MUST to visit and spend a few hours here. Will be sure to return!

17$ entry fee was worthit, went to see kangaroo and hiked all the way to Swan View Tunnel which is 4.5Km Return. Follow google maps when driving here it will save your time and follow the picnic spot directions as it is easy to get confused. Clean toilet and chilled water before hiking starts. Missed to visit the Hovea falls but visited the National Park Falls and Swan View tunnel.

Beautifully maintained national park with lovely picnic areas around Jane Brook Weir — plenty of seating and shade, perfect for all ages and families with kids. I went for a short Wildflower Trail walk to catch the spring blooms before it gets too hot in summer, and it was absolutely worth it. The trail has a gentle incline for about a third of the way, rewarding you with a nice view and bursts of colour from all the wildflowers. Signage for each trail is clear and easy to follow, which made the walk really enjoyable. I also noticed a few cyclists enjoying the varying elevations, and even saw a couple of people riding horses through the park — such a pleasant surprise! Facilities are well-kept, including toilets near the parking area. The $17 entrance fee feels very reasonable considering how well the park is maintained and the public amenities provided. I’d love to come back again and try the longer Eagle View Trail next time when I have more time to explore

Chasing waterfalls and forest trails at John Forrest National Park 🌳 Fresh air, forest paths, and endless views. Eagle View Trail is one of the best and longest hikes in WA, the views worth every step. There are trails that are more kids friendly, but if you are up for the challenge, go for the Eagle View Trail. It says 5 hours in the guideboard, depending on individual body fitness, it varies between 3 to 5 hours to comlplete the trail. Cost is $17 per car
