Jimna Base Camp, located in a small timber town within Jimna State Forest and Conondale National Park in South East Queensland, occupies the grounds of the former Jimna State School (closed 2009). Campers choose sites beneath shade trees or on flat grassy land around the old oval. Facilities include hot showers, flush toilets, children's playground and sports courts. Walking, biking and 4WD trails lead through the surrounding mountains to scenic viewpoints.
