Plenty of parking, lots of picnic areas, and room to wander around. An elevated walking area with a view of Lake Okechobee. Available restrooms and a pavilion. Easy entry and exit. A nice place to spend an hour or the day.

Love this park right in the middle of Okechobee Florida! You can see alligators at any time so be very careful. Public restrooms are clean too.

John Stretch Park is an awesome free park and rest area! There’s tons of parking, plenty of picnic tables, and grills that make it perfect for a quick stop or a longer break. Kids will love the playground, and there’s a nice hiking area if you want to get outside and stretch your legs. It’s a beautiful, relaxing spot and a great place to rest, eat, and enjoy the outdoors. Definitely worth stopping by! 🌳😊

It is a beautiful park , it has a ton of parking spots. Bathrooms are clean . Has a pavilion, field, you can walk up the hill and see the Lake Okeechobee , and it have a trail that goes all they way around it, it is called the Okeechobee Scenic Trail,

Part of a big company picnic at the park. Beautiful setting with the big lake and all. Jolly Times Party Rental supplied the inflatables. Only reason I didn’t give it the full 5 stars is as it started getting dark the mosquitos are absolutely insane. During the day the park is great but definitely plan to be out of there before dark!
