Beautifully done up. Came up here years ago after my Nan passed away and it was just a dirt area, with lots of butterflies.... it's a lovely upgrade, no more butterflies near the look out but they are over near the walking trail.

Mount Inkerman Scenic Lookout is absolutely worth the drive. The 360-degree views over the Burdekin region are stunning, especially on a clear day. Itβs peaceful, well-maintained, and perfect for taking photos or just enjoying the fresh air. A great spot to watch the sunset and appreciate the natural beauty of North Queensland.

Basic toilets, fairly clean. Very nice and modern platform, benches, smooth pavement. Wasn't too busy during the weekday, a few tourists, a few locals. Even maintenance guys came by to trim the bushes. Overall plenty of space to relax or work, relatively peaceful.

We stopped here for lunch and it's the perfect spot. It's reachable by a steep road which is very doable, but not allowed if you have a trailer or caravan. The facilities on top include toilets, 2 picnic tables (shaded) and even a public BBQ! The view is amazing. For those who aren't allowed to drive up, you can park downstairs and follow a pathway up to the lookout.

Note: no tickets needed. Very nice place to visit, this lookout is just 5 min off motorway. 200m of steep climb up on road. Network tower and a scenic lookout in the end. Place to have picnic, toilets, disabled toilets, benches, etc. When we visited weather was perfect and nice river lookout.
