Our little Cavoodle's first beach experience. Great little beach. All other dogs were well behaved. Side note. Newcastle is the friendliest dog friendly city we have visited. Ruby was allowed at all venues with outside seating.

Netty. Was. Here. Not only the worlds largest coal port but the location for the biggest climate Protestival in Australia curtesy of Rising Tide Newcastle π«Άβ€οΈπ₯ We peacefully protest for; 1. Immediately cancel all new fossil fuel projects 2. Tax fossil fuel export profits at 78% to fund community and industrial transition, and pay for climate loss and damage 3. End all coal exports from Newcastle β the worldβs largest coal port β by 2030

Really enjoyed the sunset and watching the giant container shop enter into the harbour. Was a collaborative effort of 4 tug boats managing the gigantic vessel! The water was dripping down from the anchor chains, a remarkable spectacle to watch!

Always nice and quiet during the week, great space for the dogs to run around and have a splash. Free parking, bins available, beautiful views of the lighthouse as you watch the ships come into port, easy access to the breakwall and plenty of grassy space and tables in the park behind π
