Our stay at Horizons was amazing. We really enjoyed the place and witnessed how much love and care Garry and his wife have for these creatures. The amenities were clean and well-maintained.

Great place! We really loved our staying in the middle of the nature, quiet, facilities cleaned, spacious, cozy. The feeding with the kangaroos was sooo fun. Great place for a stop in road trip if you wanna see and being in contact with the roos.

If youβre looking for a truly unique and heartwarming camping experience, this place is something special. The campground is made up of small, cozy spots, each with an amazing view over a wide open field filled with kangaroos β yes, real kangaroos casually hopping around, especially at sunrise and sunset. It feels almost surreal. But what really makes this place unforgettable is Garry, the owner. Heβs one of the kindest, most genuine people youβll meet, always ready to share incredible (and absolutely true!) stories from his life. For over 20 years, he has been taking care of hundreds of kangaroos as if they were his own children β and you can truly feel the love and dedication behind everything he does. If youβre anywhere nearby, staying at least one night is an absolute must. Donβt miss the kangaroo feeding experience β itβs something you wonβt forget. The stay is very affordable, but make sure to bring cash, as payments are cash-only. Every dollar goes directly towards buying tons of sweet potatoes to feed these beautiful creatures. A magical place, run by a beautiful soul. Highly, highly recommended.

Garry is an incredibly kind and passionate host who has helped raise more than 300 kangaroos. He feeds them every morning and evening (at 6.30 and 17.30), and we were lucky enough to watch the feeding while he shared fascinating insights about the kangaroos. Some of them even had babies in their pouch, which made the experience truly special. Staying here was an unforgettable experience, and we are very happy we chose this place. The overnight price is fair and reasonable β we paid AUD 50 for a powered site. The amenities are clean and well maintained. The campsite was fully booked during our stay, and with only two toilets there can be a bit of waiting at peak times. However, this did not take away from the overall wonderful experience.

I came here two years ago and today I returned with my parents to show them that paradise can indeed exist on earth. π¦π€It's a magical place. The owner, Gary, has so much to tell you about kangaroos. If you want to learn more about these magnificent animals, this is a place not to be missed. I recommend it 200% if you want a unique experience. I've been there twice already and a third visit is inevitable. π
