Holmes Lookout, nestled within Clyde River National Park in Batemans Bay, offers spectacular scenic views of the mighty Clyde River winding toward the Pacific Ocean, with glimpses of the Budawang Ranges to the northwest. The lookout features barbecue facilities and well-placed picnic tables surrounded by lush tall gums, making it an excellent spot for birdwatching early morning and late afternoon. The area attracts vibrantly coloured parrots, laughing kookaburras, honeyeaters, treecreepers, yellow robins and eastern spinebills.
