Very impressed with the space. Better than some caravan parks we have stayed at! Large tarmac site with concrete base and Astro turf site for all powered sites. Very clean bathrooms and shower facilities- all ensuite style. 2x dump points, on site caretaker. Dog friendly and a short 5 minute walk to metro bus stops for heading into Hobart. Construction works in progress around site but little impact on campers. Well used and maintained facilities. Laundry onsite as well with card only facilities at $5 per wash and dry, and the machines actually wash and dry your laundry. More accessible, convenient and dog friendly than two of the other parks around Hobart, one of whom does not offer the discounted rates if you book a dog site? π€

Was down here for our annual regional convention, so wanted something close and easy. It's well laid out. The amenities block was kept clean, and was very nice to use. No timer or payment needed for the showers. There is a bbq area. Power, water, and grey water, as well as black water dump points, a laundry and rubbish receptacles too. There is construction going on, but unless you are there all day, it's no biggie. Don't expect peaceful nights, as it's close to the Brooker, between the sirens and the hoons, you know where you are. But if you don't let it bother you, it's fine. We slept no worries. Some have complained about no security, that wasn't the case during our stay. Basil was on the job. Another complaint was the number of toilets, there are definitely way more than 1-2. We didn't have a need to use the laundry, but we did drive past it, and I thought that there were more than 2 washing machines and dryers, but I can't say for certain. The only hiccup we had was when we went to go to out on Sunday morning we were unable to go out the proper way due to power pole works. Fortunately we were able to do a three point turn and exit through another gate. There was a motorhome ahead of us who wasn't so fortunate, they couldn't even get out of the gate that the truck had come through as it was blocking it. There was no warning that this work was going to be done. That was the main issue. It was about 8:20am, so it wasn't exactly at a time when nobody would be trying to exit. So better communication on that front would have been appreciated. Apart from that, it was all good. We'll probably stay here again.

We chose a powered site at $45 pn and feel this was a bit expensive considering it is a gravel site with no trees or shadeI imagine it would be an oven in summer. We were aware that there was construction going on when we booked. This was not an issue when we were there. The all night traffic noise from the nearby busy road was more of an issue. The site is uninspiring and rather bleak looking. Camp kitchen was not available (also noted on their website) Ensuite type bathroom and toilets were always clean with plenty of hot water and toilet paper. Rubbish bins available and 2 dump points. 2 washing machines and driers in laundry. These are privately owned and you have to use your card and get stung with card fees. They were clean and did a good job. Site Manager was pleasant and helpful. Close to shopping centres and buses. Proximity to Hobart and local activities is it's biggest plus

Ok, first things first, this is not a Showground. Donβt expect lush green grass and loads of established trees. What you do get is a site in a construction site car park close to a busy and noisey highway. What it does have going for it is the location. Close to shops at Glenorchy, close to bus stops for buses into Hobart. Amenities are clean but other than a solitary BBQ theres no Camp Kitchen. There are 2 washer machines and 2 driers at $5 a pop, theres no washing lines. Bins were overflowing when we were there but did get emptied on the Wednesday. Avoid sites in the 50/60/70s for the noise and the sites backing onto Bunnings. Unpowered sites looked like the best and quietest option.

enjoyed my three day stay at the caravan park. super clean clean toilets and showers. It could do with another washing machine and dryer. currently two of each. Peak time at 12:00arrival of vans to the park. Site 83 is perfect. drive in site.taxi is approx $40 comfortably to the city. there is a bus too. Mona is leas than ten mins away from the park. there are pubs near by. Northgate shopping centre is close for woolies. 40 min drive to Bruny ferry. easy day trip.
