About Hazards Beach

Hazards Beach is a free, unbookable tent-only campsite within Freycinet National Park, Tasmania, set 7 km one-way (roughly 2 to 2.5 hours walk) from the carpark. It sits on the Wineglass Bay and Hazards circuit, a popular 11 km loop taking 4 to 5 hours. A composting toilet is on-site; water is unreliable so bring your own. Fires are banned throughout the parkβ€”use gas or fuel stoves only. The beach is more exposed than nearby Wineglass Bay, so expect changeable weather.
