Hawkins Lookout offers a truly spectacular view of the river below, absolutely worth the stop. It’s the kind of place that makes you wish you were taking on the winding roads by bike, just to fully soak in the journey and scenery. A simple but memorable viewpoint that captures the beauty of the area perfectly.

Pretty lookout point. Nice quick break on the drive and easy to access. Not really anywhere to walk around though nearby.

Located at Lot 6 Old Northern Road, Wisemans Ferry, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 This is a gem of a place to enjoy the view over the Hawkesbury River. Apparently, it’s the best spot in the state to view the river. There is a small picnic area which includes picnic tables but no toilet facilities unfortunately. There is plenty of FREE parking though which is within metres of the lookout . It can become very windy so be sure to keep your belongings safe. The view over the Hawkesbury River is stunning, especially on a clear day. It would be great if there was toilets. Would still recommend a visit here, just for the view. Thumbs up!! 👍
