This is such a great lookout... very casual and relaxing looking out over the beautiful seascape. So different to the concrete man-made ones we see all the time. Recommend absolutely. Although we didn't see them, apparently whales frequent the waters in this area...

The view is absolutely awesome. Great to sit and listen and watch the ocean. Great area for a picnic lunch overlooking the ocean and if you are lucky will some dolphins or whales (when in season). It is so surreal.

Fantastic place to pull up in the carpark on the headland and have a picnic and explore the rocks around the headland. There is a couple of natural rock pools to lounge in on the northern side of the point. Also beautiful beach walk to the south. It is easy to access the beach from the headland to wander along the Oceanside.

Hastings Point was absolutely stunning ✨ We visited the lookout, explored the rock pools looking for fish and shells — so many shells! Such a beautiful afternoon spent by the water 🌊
