The natural beauty of the beach to coral reef is stunning. The island has a unique smell due to the birds - who are quite cheeky. Resort staff obviously put alot of effort into cleaning boardwalk areas. Building exteriors and dock do look a bit rundown and in need of repair. Travelled with a 3 month old baby and it was grand, just pick your day for smooth travel

Beautiful little island off the cost of Cairns. It’s located in the Great Barrier Reef and as such is a great spot for snorkeling although it can be very very crowded in the water! There is a beautiful walkway on the island which leads you to a a bit more “remote” area with fewer tourists which is definitely welcome. There you can sometimes find albatrosses resting. There are a few shops and kiosks where you can grab something to eat. The only downside is that there are a lot of tourist but as I was one my self I cannot really complain.

Beautifully located near Cairns, wonderful aboriginal cultural tour and marine biologist presentation on the island, we learned enriched cairns aboriginal and yarrabah aboriginal traditions and history knowledge! We also saw 24 turtles snorkeling offshore

A great day trip in Cairns. It’s nice to walk around an island. BYO food or there is a couple of places to eat. The glass bottom boat was nice. We did not ski a or snorkel but others did and had a good time and only need four 4-5 hours on the island

So glad we got to visit and stay in this place. Amazing swimming and snorkeling. Fish, and turtles 🐢 everywhere. Beautiful hikes around the island with a crocodile park in the middle. We spent 4 days here, but definitely could see it all in a day. Loved every minute here.
