Camped at Cromer Shed with family, friends and dogs. The kids had a ball building forts in the forest, walking and riding bikes, campfires and marshmallows. Great spot for families. Shed has 2 picnic tables, combustion heater and wood-fired BBQ. Outdoors there is a firepit, picnic table, 2 water tanks and longdrop toilet with hand basin. There is also a solar indoor and outdoor light. 28/9/25 Have just spent the weekend at Cromer Shed and it has gone downhill. There is no longer a combustion heater inside the shed and the indoor and outdoor solar lights were not working. The fire pit is looking a bit munted and the shed hadn't been swept out when we arrived. Despite all this, it's still a lovely spot.

This place is so beautiful, if youβre looking for a day to spend in nature look no further! We went during off peak where the fire ban was still in place but that didnβt stop us from having an amazing time! We were so lucky to see some of the wild kangaroos and enjoy the time without it being too packed

Iβve hiked here and ridden my MTB here, both were enjoyable π love all the trees, especially in winter when the surrounding area is nice and green too. Thereβs several walking trails, from easy to hard and varying durations. Easy parking.

Awesome place for camping all vehicles accessible 1 hour drive from adelaide city. Great hiking and camping spot. Near shopping place is gawler so make sure you pack enough foods and drinking water. If you are staying in tent carry a water proof tent and enough firewoods.
