Great destination to have a few days away, so close to Brisbane, and the views from the Big Sand Dunes are sensational!

Amazing getaway from Brisbane! An easy ferry ride takes you to paradise! Snorkeling at the Tangalooma Shipwrecks is a must! Look for whales on the East Coast between June and October! Feeding wild dolphins at the pier is an unforgettable experience!

Such a beautiful place to explore. One of the biggest sandy islands in the world. Not many words can express the experience here. I will just leave some photos and videos. From sand dunes to ocean, you will love this amazing place.

Absolute Paradise, incredible snorkelling, surfing, fishing, sunsets, 4wdriving, camping. You simply must go. Camp north west for privacy and sunsets, north point for surfing and champagne pools, the wrecks for snorkelling and wifi. Having said that we based at north west and just drove to the other places. πŸ₯°πŸ˜

Such a beautiful island and hands down one of the best places in Australia for whale watching. We saw so many whales and all possible behaviours they could display. It’s quite a large island so we a day trip definitely wasn’t enough. Lots of hidden gems! Would recommend highly!
