A truly amazing historic place that has been cared for immaculately. We discovered the most tranquil and impressive gardens, waterways and a beautiful water fall on the grounds of the establishment.

A wonderful place to stop. The visitor centre is packed with helpful informations and friendly staff member. There was an excellent presentation on the Yowie. Nearby was a Yowie statue and a place to get a photo. There was also an art gallery and a market, chock full of the superb work of local artists. There were a number of cafes nearby to get something to eat and drink.

Enjoyed whilst travelling through town, had a pie from the bakery across the road. Our 4 year old played after lunch and we enjoyed the rest and the view. Was clean and tidy park.

Yowie Park is the place to stop and spend an hour or so. There are so many eating options and places to explore all in one area. Getting a picture with the Yowie is a fun activity for kids, and your animals will enjoy exploring the green areas. Make sure to check out the information center for a low-cost souvenir or a free cup of coffee and snacks.

Nice place for a picnic lunch, shared with the ducks, ibis and swamp fowls. There is a nice little playground here too. Although it was busy, it didn't feel that way as this park is quite large with a nice lake backdrop. We found an empty BBQ and BBQ'd our sausages and ate at a nearby table opposite the lake. There are quaint art & craft shops nearby along with a little Hall of History which is interesting. The Information Centre is also here. There is plenty of parking as well. Highly recommend coming here for your next picnic.
