The reception staff were lovely and helpful. For over $1800 for 2 weeks I thought the cabin would at least be clean though. Amongst the issues the couch was so dirty I didn't sit on it and every time I brushed past the bed, which was unavoidable in such a small room, my pants got covered in dust. There was other people's hair everywhere. You also have to wash your own towels and linen, which is ok if you have a reasonable amount of other washing, but costly if not.

Family cabin, for 6. We arrived super late but had called through in advance to let reception know. Very friendly and communication was good. The key and map had been left in the lock box for us. Kitchen had been revamped, the bathroom was large in size (bigger than other cabins we’ve stayed in) and the two bedrooms weren’t bad. In the master, it was a bit squashed, just enough room on each side of the bed to walk. The 2nd room had 2 sets of bunks, which could fit our two 5’11” daughters and two youngest children. Beds were comfortable for everyone but myself (I prefer a very firm bed) but for 1 night it suited us. Location was easy to find. However, I’m not sure what is next door but the loud mega phone announcements may put other travellers off. Especially if staying more than 1-2 nights. Key return was easy. The reception staff were well mannered and happy. Cannot fault them.

Great location for the historic Eureka Stockade area, we had a car so easy to get around Ballarat, supermarket 600m away. The park itself was easy to navigate, easy after hours check-in for us. Budget villa 2 bedroom was clean, shower was lovely and beds very comfortable. Didn’t use kitchen but it had all the essentials for cooking. Good amenities such as games room, camp kitchen, bbq, laundry. A fabulous outdoor pool complex next to the park which is free for park guests. A very enjoyable stay.

This place is a hidden gem in Ballarat. Great staff. Great facilities. Great pool next door which is free. Nice and quiet location; the cabin was great, the bed was nice and comfy, and the shower was great. Will be definitely staying here again.

Lovely venue with lots of trees surrounding the sites and cabins. The neighbouring pool is a great asset. Awesome location with all tourist spots we were seeing being around 10 minutes away. Updated cabins are really nice. If in 2nd bedroom, bring a heater or fan as the air-con is in the master bedroom, which is limited if the door is shut. The 5 person standard cabin can only fit 3 comfortably...and only for a couple of nights.
