Broken river camping area in Eungella NP was very cool, albiet limited spaces, nestled by the babbling very platypus- friendly Broken River. Fantastic walks featuring different vista's, distances to suit different desires and timeliness. Eco-lodge directly opposite the campground (handy if you arrive late in the rain after car overheating issues, just saying). Super steep hill climb to get there so take it slow and easy, but so worth it.

Love this place. We went up at sunset and were lucky enough to see a platypus and turtles. Gorgeous natural environment. Be patient, watch for bubbles and hopefully see a platypus. The most beautiful animals

A beautiful park with a stunning road leading to it. Although the drive can be challenging due to steep climbs and sharp turns, the route is truly scenic. The park itself covers an impressive area of wilderness, where both the vegetation and the wildlife let you experience nature in its purest form. In summary, highly recommended.

The drive down to the dam was 45 minutes on a bumpy dirt track. It was horrible and not worth it. The platypus viewing was a great spot as was the lovely scenery.
