El Questro is what happens when a National Park and Disneyland have a baby. π Bloody awesome spot with heaps to see and do, great scenery, and plenty of adventure if youβre keen to explore. Only downside is the dust in the campgrounds β some people drive through like theyβre late for the Finke. Slow it down. Riverside camps have less dust and closer to the swimming hole.

Camped here for 3 nights. So much to see and do here. Some caravan sites a bit small. Some a bit uneven ground so maybe have a look at sites first to see if you can setup easily. Staff very friendly. The station Steakhouse was very nice. Bit pricey but expect that out here. Chefs ha e some great specials. We had the 1.2kg Ribeye as a share. Very nice. Lunch menu pretty good to.

Location is great. Facilities are very good. But please, when there are 2 toilet blocks near the camping area stop closing them both for cleaning at the same time. This has happened every morning. I have asked reception about it and they said they would pass it on......

Ignore the negative nancies out there - this place is wonderful. We stayed a couple nights, and said on our way out that we will have to come back. We did arrive a little under prepared, so couldn't self drive to El Questro Gorge, and due to a couple sites being closed currently, meant we couldn't tour them either - HOWEVER - that being said, we relaxed, and just enjoyed the atmosphere. The food, products, services, entertainment and staff have been amazing!! People complain about the price, but we believe it is completely worth it. The maintenance completed regularly around the station makes it much easier for their guests. Regularly grated roads, water tanks used to keep the dust down, river beds smooth sailing - it all takes time and money, which means less spent on potential repairs. Gotta take note of these little extras to make the experience better for the customers. Loved it!

Beautiful shady grounds once you arrived after dirt road abd creek crossings. Definitely 4wd only. The staff were very accommodating, minding my small dog so we could do a couple of walks. Nice bar/bistro area. Modern amenities but lots of toads at night there... A little expensive.
