A truly breathtaking and unforgettable place that feels like standing at the edge of the world. The rugged coastline, powerful ocean waves, and endless views across the Southern Ocean create a dramatic and peaceful atmosphere. The landscape is raw, untouched, and a perfect reminder of Tasmaniaβs wild natural beauty. The lookout area is simple but well worth the drive, especially on a clear day when you can fully appreciate the vastness of the ocean. A must-visit destination for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone looking for a unique experience away from the usual tourist spots. The journey itself is part of the adventure, and the scenery is absolutely worth it.

What a fantastic place β truly feels like youβve reached the edge of the world. The views are wild, rugged, and absolutely breathtaking. We copped a full-on gale while we were there, which somehow made the whole experience even better. Standing there with the wind roaring and the ocean crashing below, itβs raw, powerful, and completely unforgettable. Word of adviceβ¦ if youβre on the lighter side, maybe bring a heavier mate along for stability β it was blowing that hard π Whether itβs calm or chaotic, this place has a presence about it. Itβs not polished or touristy β itβs nature at its most dramatic. One of those spots that sticks with you long after you leave.

Short drive in from town. Was expecting something akin to the name but views are great and it does place you at the exit of the river to the sea. Some large tree trunks caught up on rocks so in bad weathet it could the the edge of the world. Great bbq hut enclosed to use and plenty of parking. Just a short dirt road to get in. Worth a visit if in the area. Location had toilets available. Cross the bridge st albert river and signs will direct you.

There are places for caravan parks. There is A dump station for caravans at the Edge of the world. Public toilets.
