Empathy - None! Will I ever book at Eden Gateway Holiday Park again - NO! Will I let other people know - Yes! Due to unforeseen circumstances, that were not in our control, an attempt to receive a reimbursement for our booking made via Booking.com was denied by the Resident Managers. The communication from and with Booking.com with all our other reservations for this trip were respectful and empathetic. Not so with Eden Gateway Holiday Park Resident Managers - a simple "non-refundable booking" was all we got. Word of mouth goes a long way.

Only stayed 1 night but enjoyed large open grassy spaces. Good vibes here, as Close to Asling Beach. Also Mary McKillop museum. So LOTS to see close by this nice park.

Stayed 9 nights over NYE as part of a group of 6 sites, travelling 6 hours. Each site cost over $900 for powered site. The booking process over the phone with Alannah was great, but check-in was very different. Alannah was flustered and unhelpful. Our “largest” site was unusable due to a large tree with exposed roots in the middle, we couldn’t properly set up our caravan or swap sites with our mates with a 4-6 person tent. When we raised this with management (management being Alannah) we were met with rudeness, no apology, and told to just share sites within our group. Security is advertised, but it’s just management attending in dressing gowns at night — very unprofessional. Laundry dryers are cheap $2 for 20 minutes, but 20 minutes doesn’t dry anything expect to pay 2–3 cycles. Amenities near our site felt unsafe and unclean (cloth shower curtains and constantly wet toilet floors). Water was cut off at 10am during our stay with no proper notice we were bluntly told to “check our emails.” WiFi didn’t work and mobile service was very unreliable. The only positive was two couples staying on the sites next to us who were absolutely amazing. They travel park to park doing maintenance and were working onsite during our stay. They helped us come up with suggestions to position our caravan differently so we could make it work. If it wasn’t for them (one named Wayne), we probably would have packed up and gone home. For the price paid, this was extremely disappointing. Would not return.

Managers were fantastic. Amenities are very clean. The caravan sites are a good size, with grass. The jumping pillow and pool and games room kept the pre/teens happy when not adventuring. Walkway to beach very close. Only complaint is not much shade/trees, a few very large rocks in the way of turning a large van around.

Had a wonderful 3days relaxing and winding downafter a few long days travelling. The Park was very quiet and peaceful. Great pool and good location. The managers were fabulous and gave us heaps of local information on arrival. Eden is a beautiful place with some beautiful walks and interesting history.
