Situated within the Green Mountains section of Lamington National Park, 110 kilometres south of Brisbane, this bush camp site perches within the World Heritage-listed Gondwana Rainforests. Sunrise from the lookout sweeps across the valley floor toward the distant coast, where Mount Warning and the Tweed River mouth appear on the horizon, while the surrounding rainforest shelters rare and endemic species shaped by geological processes spanning millions of years.

A very nice lookout on the Albert River Circuit. I have camped here a couple of times - a great spot to wake up to the lyre birds calling to each other across the valley. On a clear day you can see Cape Byron in the distance.
