Located in Royal National Park south of Sydney, Eagle Waterfall marks an 82-metre dual-cascade that flows into the sea, backed by Eagle Rock, a distinctive sandstone formation shaped like an eagle's head. An 8.8km easy coastal walk from Wattamolla (mostly boardwalk) leads to Curracurrong Falls and Eagle Rock with sweeping ocean views and the rare phenomenon of wind-driven water appearing to flow upward as mist. After significant rainfall, three separate waterfalls tumble into the ocean, making this a bucket-list coastal hike just 40 minutes from Sydney.
