Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Feeding is a unique experience and definitely something to try at least once. Getting up close to wild dolphins is pretty special β seeing them come in and interact is genuinely amazing and something you donβt forget. That said, it is quite expensive for what it is. You can actually watch the whole thing for free from the pier, so the paid experience is really about being in the water and feeding them directly. It can also get quite crowded, with a lot of people waiting for their turn, which takes a bit away from the moment. Overall, itβs one of those βdo it onceβ experiences. Incredible to see these animals in the wild, just go in knowing what to expect.

We didnβt do the dolphin feeding but weβre on the island as part of our Carnival Cruise, great things to do include turtle watching, scuba diving the old shipwrecks, quad bikes, Segwayβs, great place for a family holiday or romantic getaway

Feeding the dolphins at Tangalooma Island Resort was honestly one of the most magical experiences of my life. From the moment the sun started setting over Moreton Bay, the atmosphere was unreal calm water, golden skies, and pure excitement in the air. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, making everyone feel comfortable and prepared before entering the water. You can tell they genuinely care about the dolphins and their conservation. When the wild bottlenose dolphins glided in toward the shore, it was absolutely breathtaking. Standing in the water and hand-feeding such a beautiful, intelligent animal was surreal. The dolphins were gentle, graceful, and so close you could hear them breathe. Itβs something you simply canβt describe properly you have to experience it. The entire program is very well organised, respectful to the animals, and educational. Itβs not just a tourist activity it feels meaningful and special. If youβre visiting Moreton Island, this is an absolute must-do. A once-in-a-lifetime memory Iβll never forget. Highly recommend! βββββ
