Stayed in a powered site with soft pad. The size was perfect, price was very reasonable, facilities were on point and we were accomodated very well for a last minute late checkout. Thankyou for providing an excellent park for travellers of all ages, needs and wants.

Great park for the whole family. Kids had a ball over the long weekend. They could safely ride their bikes around, access the toilets and play on the playground. The kids also braved the pools and splash park in winter (insane). The adults had fun with the gin tasting night!

Great spot to spend a while. The old section is nice with the shade and protection from the wind. The new section and facilities are well done and comfortable and the old facilities may need an upgrade, particularly the showers. Sites are cheap and accessibility into town is good. Overall very good place to stay.

My family and I have been visiting Discovery Parks at least once a year for over 15 years, and during that time we have stayed at most of your locations across South Australia. This was our second visit to Goolwa Discovery Park. We would like to note that we do not raise complaints about minor issues. However, on this occasion, the experience was not as enjoyable as it has been in the past. The proximity of campers positioned very close to the cabins—particularly on the small grassed areas surrounding them—significantly reduced the sense of space, privacy, and overall enjoyment that we expect when paying premium rates for cabin accommodation. This arrangement made it difficult for my family and me to fully relax, as it created a feeling of being constantly overlooked. In all our years visiting other Discovery Parks, we have not encountered a similar setup. Additionally, we experienced an issue at the boom gate upon arrival. A vehicle ahead of us was unable to enter, and while we were waiting behind for 7 minutes , a staff member tall skinny lady came out of the office to assist them. During this interaction, we were instructed to reverse in a manner that felt abrupt and discourteous. Once the vehicle ahead was admitted, the staff member returned to the office without any acknowledgment or communication with us. We hope you will take this feedback into consideration, as these matters had a noticeable impact on our overall experience. We would have otherwise rated our stay five stars.

The discovery park is simpler perfect for a family escape been the best most relaxing 2 night stay with a very tired 4 year old by the end of the day. Pools are clean and big and suitable for all ages splash park is so fun pedal cars were great and gave dad a work out lol rooms were perfectly equipped for big families - we had me and baby in the main room and dad and 2 older kids in the other room. Spacious clean and everything thought of right down to coffee tea comfort beds pillows and blankets and free wifi. We went in a Sunday Monday which was perfect not too busy and no neighbours and everyone super quiet and respectful once it got dark.
