Waterfront campsite with amazing breeze under a tree to protect from the heat of the day. Amenities are clean and well maintained, pool area is beautiful and camp sites are big. Location is a few minutes drive to town centre.

Stayed on an oceanfront site at Discovery Parks Broome and it was outstanding. The sites are large and well laid out – plenty of room to park the caravan, set up the awning, and still have space around you. The view alone makes it worth it. We had an ensuite site which was clean, spacious, and well maintained. Amenities across the park are excellent – on par with, if not better than, other parks in Broome. We originally stayed at another caravan park near Cable Beach (three-letter name) but moved after two nights due to constant traffic noise from nearby venues and the tight, gravel sites where you’re right on top of each other. In comparison, Discovery Parks feels far more open, relaxed, and family-friendly. The pool here is a standout – larger, cooler, and actually refreshing, with a bit of a Bali-style feel. For kids, this place is hard to beat. You’re right next to the splash park, playgrounds, and the jetty. We fished there daily and were catching trevally, cod, and queenfish, and even saw a big friendly groper. Plenty of fish life and a great experience for families. Location-wise, it’s more central and accessible, whereas the Cable Beach park felt isolated. Only minor downside – there is some public access nearby, so just be sensible and don’t leave valuables out. Like anywhere, opportunistic theft can happen if things are left unattended. Overall, highly recommend Discovery Parks Broome. Great layout, great facilities, and ideal for families.

We camped in motorhome beach front and it was fabulous. The pool was a delight, actually refrigerated, which was amazing. Only issue was that the gates were locked before dark ie 5.30pm so after a big day out we couldn't access the pool for a cool off. The pool had lights both in the water and around table pergolas so it seemed a waste. Toilets and showers were modern and clean but toilets only had 1 very small hand basin for 6+ toilets. Also no fans or aircon.... Location very good and staff nice. Shop didn't carry any essential lines though.

Spent a week here we were suppose to be spending 2 weeks here but due to cyclone Hayley we were evacuated from the park. We were allocated a spot on the water front which was nice. We used the laundry facilities unfortunately the dryer was useless and everything was still quiet wet after half an hour of being in the dryer and there was no iron available. The open campers kitchen is good fridge bbq plates stove top oven and even an air fryer is supplied . The single large toilet/shower combos are exceptionally clean and modern. The camp ground are well kept some sites are just dirt like the waterfront sites the higher sites do have concrete pads The lady in office was extremely friendly and very helpful

Stayed in both beachfront sites and cabin. The BEST place we have stayed at in the Kimberley. Cleanest facilities. Great service. Perfect location for Town Beach, walk to markets and Matsos. Great water park nearby if grandchildren visiting. As with any place, just ensure you keep your property secure. (The park managers ensure that warnings are provided). Can't fault the place! We have already planned more stays there.
