We booked the superior 2 bed cabin and it was great! Perfect size cabin for family of 3/4. We had an amazing view of the lake and a gas fireplace inside which heated the whole cabin very quickly. The kitchen is a great size enabling us to store and cook what we needed for our stay. The ladies in the reception were lovely and so helpful.

We have been holidaying at Discovery Parks Jindabyne since 2011 and have always enjoyed our stays, which makes this experience particularly disappointing. We originally booked and paid for a 3-night stay. Due to a change in our plans, we contacted the office by email to request a date change and specifically asked for a Friday to Monday stay, matching the 3 nights we had originally booked and paid for. The office provided alternative dates, which we accepted and booked. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we discovered that the amended booking had only been made for 2 nights instead of the 3 nights we had requested. We immediately raised this with the office and showed them the email clearly requesting a 3-night stay. Despite this, the only solution offered was for us to pay an additional $350+ for the third night. After driving 5 hours from Sydney and arriving to find that the accommodation was available and sitting empty, we were disappointed that no effort was made to resolve what was clearly an administrative error. There was no flexibility, goodwill gesture, or alternative solution offered, despite us providing evidence of our original request. Customer service is just as important as the accommodation itself, and unfortunately this experience left us feeling undervalued as long-term guests. After holidaying here for over a decade, this has sadly been enough for us to decide that we will not be returning.

Had such an amazing stay here. The staff were incredible, and to top it off we were unexpectedly upgraded which made the whole trip even more special. The park itself is beautiful, peaceful, and in such a perfect location with stunning views. Everything felt easy, comfortable, and well looked after. You can really tell the team cares about creating a great experience for guests. We left feeling so happy and refreshed — definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

We enjoyed our stay at the park. We like the nice chilled vibe, beautiful autumn trees, and scenic lake view. We also liked the wood fire. Bike riding and kayaking around the lake is so fun. A comment to improve the place : reception ran out of toilet paper and made no effort to give us more.

I love love love staying here - I’ve done two weeks in winter and now two weeks in summer. Firstly, the staff are amazing. The people who work the front desk are so helpful, kind and genuinely make me want to go and just have a chat with them. The facilities and amenities are great. I’ve stayed in most cabin types now and I think they’re all fantastic. It’s clean, well-maintained and has everything you could need. I honestly prefer staying here then on mountain. I can’t recommend enough and again the staff are just incredible. Did I mention Enough how great the staff are?
