π Campbellfield, VIC
Dights Falls is an artificial weir across the Yarra River built in the 1840s to power the Ceres flour mill, one of Victoria's first. Named after John Dight who purchased the land in 1838, the weir sits on a natural rock bar in Abbotsford near inner Melbourne. The historical industrial site marks where water power first harnessed the Yarra's flow for milling.
