Truly an extraordinary masterpiece of nature created by the Almighty. The clear blue sky blending beautifully with the crystal-like sparkling ocean, stretches of white sand, dramatic rocky cliffs, and lush green coastal vegetation create an atmosphere that feels incredibly peaceful and calming. This place is truly a real hidden gem. The perfect place to find tranquility, seek comfort and joy, or simply immerse yourself in the beauty of nature.

Beautiful, clear water beach with small stony structures standing in the waters - gave us plenty of Great Ocean Rd and the twelve apostles vibes! Watch for the tides before proceeding to walk through the beach. We visited on a high tide day and the waves were pretty intense, so we didn't risk walking down the beach. The parking is limited and it can be difficult to secure a bay if it's a busy day.

βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ Visited Diamond Bay and itβs easily one of the most underrated hidden gems on the Mornington Peninsula! Just about a 1.5-hour drive from Melbourne, this coastal spot offers breathtaking bay views, rugged cliffs, and crystal-clear waters that feel straight out of a postcard. The walking track down to the beach is scenic and well worth it, especially if you love nature, photography, or a peaceful escape away from the crowds. The turquoise water contrasting with the rocky coastline makes it one of the most Instagrammable locations in Victoria. Itβs perfect for a quiet stroll, sunset views, or simply soaking in the beauty of the ocean. Highly recommend adding Diamond Bay to your Mornington Peninsula itinerary if youβre exploring hidden beaches near Melbourne. A must-visit for anyone looking for scenic coastal walks and offbeat travel spots in Victoria! πβ¨ ---

Beautiful sandy beach at the back of Sorrento. This town is usually very busy during peak summer due to its popularity, but if you want to get away from the crowd and the main beach, this is the place to be. I would advise caution if you are swimming because the tides are not consistent and unpredictable and there are no lifeguards in that area. However, there is a nice area for walking or hiking and you can get to the nearby bay but again I suggest that you beware of snakes while hiking. Overall a great alternative to the main beach.

I loved it! Make sure you visit it with the sun shining so the colours of the water are better. Short walk from the carpark, and a section of the track also.leads you to the Bay of Islands lookout and St Paul
