The campsites are spacious and surrounded by beautiful nature 🌊🌾. Waking up to ocean views and fresh air was amazing 😍☀️. Plenty of walking trails, wildlife, and peaceful spots to just relax and unwind 🥾🦘. Perfect getaway for anyone who loves nature and camping — truly refreshing!

Longer drive from Adelaide but so worth while. If not for the views, atleast to create memories. Plenty to see on the way and we took the coastal drive down. Entry to the park was free and we were able to take it in at our own pace. Not alot of traffic coming through which made it wonderful.

Dhilba Guuranda–Innes National Park sits right at the toe of the Yorke Peninsula, where the land just gives up and lets the ocean take over. It’s wild, rugged, unapologetic, and honestly a bit poetic in that end-of-the-road kind of way. You come here to unplug, to feel small, to remember that nature was doing just fine before Wi-Fi showed up. 🌊 The landscape Cliff lines that look hand-carved by time, turquoise water smashing into limestone, and beaches that feel like you accidentally discovered them rather than drove to them. From surf beaches like Pondalowie to calm coves that feel almost secret, the variety is ridiculous. Every lookout feels like a screensaver that forgot it’s meant to be subtle. 🚶‍♀️ Bushwalking & exploring The walking trails are where this park really shows its depth. You’re not just hiking, you’re time-travelling. The ruins at Inneston, old gypsum mining remnants, rusted machinery, and stone buildings sitting quietly among the scrub, it’s haunting in the best way. Old bones of industry, swallowed by nature, lesson noted. Trails range from chill wander to “okay my calves are now part of the ecosystem,” so pace yourself. Bring water, sunscreen, and humility. 🏄 Surfing & ocean energy Surfers love this place and for good reason. Consistent swell, powerful breaks, and fewer crowds than the famous spots. That said, this coastline does not mess around. Strong currents, big waves, sharp rocks. Respect it or it’ll teach you a lesson. ⛺ Camping vibes Camping here is raw and real. No luxury nonsense, just you, the wind, and the sound of waves breathing all night. Sites are well spaced, meaning actual privacy, not the illusion of it. Sunsets hit different when you’re cooking noodles while the sky turns feral shades of orange and pink. 🦘 Wildlife & atmosphere Kangaroos, emus, seabirds everywhere, especially early morning and dusk. The park feels alive but not intrusive, like it’s watching you back, curious but unimpressed. Fair. ⚠️ Things to know before you go • Facilities are basic, plan ahead • Phone reception is patchy to non-existent, which is kind of the point • Weather can flip moods fast, coastal rules apply • Take rubbish out with you, no exceptions, don’t be that person Final word Dhilba Guuranda–Innes National Park isn’t polished, curated, or trying to impress you. It just exists, confidently, beautifully, and a little brutally. If you love big skies, salty air, history baked into the dirt, and landscapes that make you shut up for a second, this place delivers. Old-school nature, no filters, zero apologies. 10 out of 10, would disappear here again.

Had a fantastic day exploring.. absolutely stunning views and lots of phots taken. Wonderful to see so many animals in their natural habitat.. On our adventure we came across kangaroos, emus, blue tongue lizards and dolphins

Fantastic camping trip and beautiful scenery.....fav spots included Shell Beach and Dolphin Bay. Just make sure your prepared with those fly hats or nets to go over your face at the campsites, they are literally in your face!
