Stopped for the night on our way to Mt Feild. Pub opens at 5pm. Had soup of the day for $15 and a few drinks. Warm fire and nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend. Glad we stopped!

Had a schnitzel, panko crumbed delicious. didnt camp as carpark was full with over 40 caravans. public toilets are across the road. Dump point beside the toilets. there is also a recharge station. Cafe and fuel bowsers also within 1 min from the Derwent bridge hotel. hrs of the hotel- opens midday-2pm and closes then reopens at 5pm. Beer on tap. nice atmosphere. fire was burning. I camped 5mins down the road towards Queenstown. It was lovely and secluded beside the river.

It was our first time dining here. Stopped by for dinner and was pleasantly impressed with the quality of the food. The soup of the day was mushroom carrot. The flavor was well thought out and creative. I had plenty of mushroom soups and this one was a top five for me! The chicken schnitzel was also nicely prepared. Thanks chef!!! And oh, by the way, the Mushroom gravy with the Schnitzel was the bomb!!!!

What a fantastic location. Parked for 2 nights in Free RV camping. Hotel staff were friendly and professional. Drinks reasonably priced. Beef and bacon burger was very tasty. Lamb shank was so tender, just a bit too much oily residue on plate but canβt be helped sometimes with lamb so not a major issue. Overall a hidden gem to experience. Oh and you can bring your dog inside as well

We came early around 5:15pm and managed to nab a table in the dining hall right next to the fireplace. The food was great in quality and value. It was cold though! The $45 steak was great. The kids fish and chips $16.50 and kids steak was good $16.50 and came with vanilla ice cream. It was only the sticky date pudding that looked a bit sad.
