Daintree National Park is one of the most incredible natural places I’ve ever visited. The rainforest is absolutely breathtaking, with towering ancient trees, lush greenery, crystal-clear creeks, and an amazing variety of wildlife. It’s hard to believe you’re walking through one of the oldest rainforests in the world. There are plenty of well-maintained walking tracks and boardwalks that make it easy to explore, whether you’re after a short stroll or a longer adventure. Everywhere you look there is something beautiful to see, from giant ferns and strangler figs to birds and butterflies. The peaceful atmosphere and untouched beauty make this a must-visit destination for anyone travelling to Far North Queensland. Allow plenty of time to explore because there’s so much to see and appreciate. An unforgettable experience that I’d highly recommend to nature lovers of all ages.

Pristine – A very knowledgeable tour guide took us through Mossman Gorge and River area, pointing out basket ferns the size of large sofa. The dedication to conservation was evident when our tour guide lowered himself 12 feet below the bridge to retrieve a plastic bottle that had fallen into the river, then climbed back up to the bridge – dedicated and very strong.

Beautiful park with access to the oldest rainforest in the world. Great visitor center with shopping store. Easy access to buy tickets for the shuttle that takes you inside the park on a 10 minutes ride. No cars allowed. Please bring lot of water if visiting. The trails are well kept and most of the beginning of the walking path accessible. More deep into the rainforest you'd need better shoes. Bring swimsuit to jump into the swimming area.

Absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. Having had the chance to see it with my own eyes is such a blessing. Australian nature is amazing, but up here in the Daintree it takes another mile.
