Crows Nest National Park protects 1,800 hectares of creek scenery, granite outcrops and eucalypt forest on the Great Dividing Range, 56km north of Toowoomba. Crows Nest Falls plunges 20 metres over steep granite cliffs into the Valley of Diamonds, named for its mineral feldspar that glistens in sunlight.
