Great place to visit, half the fun is getting there. This is my seventh visit to Craig’s Hut, and each time it offers a different experience. Well worth the six-hour motorbike adventure.

What a spectacular place to visit. The view from the hut with different hues of blue over the mountains is postcard worthy. The hut has been kept in great condition with an interesting history. The gardens are starting to grow back. Toilets available and great picnic area. 4x4 track which takes you right up to the hut was in good condition and relatively easy to drive.

Great spot for a day out. We 4WD’d up to Craig’s Hut and then continued on to Mount Stirling. Getting to Craig’s Hut is fairly easy and a good track for beginners. The track up to Mount Stirling is a bit more technical but still very manageable if you take it slow. There are tables and fire pits with plates you can cook on, which makes it a good place to stop and spend some time. The views are fantastic and it’s definitely worth the drive.

Well worth the drive up. The last 2km doesn't need a 4WD, just a vehicle with high clearance. Stunning views, loved it. Toilets available too - drop toilets with running water to wash your hands, just not drinkable. No camping allowed but you could make a controlled fire in the pit - conditions apply. Picnic tables are also available. Highly recommend the visit here!

Lovely old hut! Definitely worth the price to see Craig's Hut. Was built for the movie The Man from Snowy River. Has been rebuilt a couple of times due to fires. Now it is used for shelter, for bushwalkers or anyone that needs to get of the weather. There are toilets( bring your own 🧻 ) and a open fire to cook a steak. The road in is ok until the turn off, then gets a bit rough rough. A car wouldn't 🚗 be able to make it over the mounds. It is was beautiful and peaceful!
