Wonderful park. It's been here since the 1960s! Great location on the ocean and inlet. Beautifully maintained, clean ammenities. Cotton Tree Village (across the road) is very cute (cafes, shops, etc). And the Boathouse restaurant on the beach is right next door. It is a nice get-away park.

We arrived on Friday and was was told by another camper during week days when the park was quiet they turn the water down to save money, so we'll see. Paying $76 for a week day and $84 for weekends is very expensive to say the least with no pool or other entertainment, which other parks seem to have which are cheaper. Unfortunately everywhere is book solid with sporting activities happening this weekend. What happened to the affordable holidays for families, if you're travellers, free camping is a must otherwise you might as well rent, its just as expensive or get a hotel. Caravan parks seem to think its there god given right to charge the earth for a 3x5 patch of dirt and a bit of water and electricity which wouldn't cost more then $10 a day. You say you match the other caravan parks but you don't say how many other caravan parks you own!

We booked on line after seeing a promotion for pay for 3 days and stay for 4. This suited us we were here for work for 4 days with our motor home . I went ahead and booked …. What I thought was the deal. 2 days into our stay we received a txt to advise of the check out time the next day . My husband went to the office to discuss this as we still had our last free day to stay. Staff said that it looks like we missed a step when booking and didn’t add the promotion code. She said that she would ask the manager. Later I had a call from the same staff member advising that the promotion had closed and that we would have to pay for the additional day !! I asked to speak to the manager, at which she said that she could give me an email address to send my question. I sent the email advising of my situation, thinking that common sense and old fashioned customer service would prevail. Crickets …. So I popped on after work & spoke to another young lady which said the same thing , with no empathy or compassion for our situation. She said that we’d have to pay $71 for the extra night if we wanted to stay. I asked if she could offer us a discount considering what has happened, the answer was no , again no empathy at all. It’s ridiculous that these big chains can carry on like this, sucking us into their online deals and not being accountable when the processes are not simple for the customer. There is absolutely no room for error , we are all human and it’s bound to happen. The park itself is a great spot , but thats all that is on offer here. I won’t be back.

Cotton Tree Beach is awesome! We always have fun there and I was lucky to get a booking, the place is always fully booked and no wonder. Right next to the river and the beach. Restaurants are close and it's a small walk from town. The amenities are clean and so are the camp sites. The staff is always friendly and helpful. You must visit this camping spot! We had a powered tent site.

Just spent another amazing 8 weeks at this amazing park in our van and lived every minute. Office staff couldnt be more helpful and always professional and polite and also like to mention the ground staff especially Reece and Brian who always had time for a hello and sometimes a quick chat. We have been coming to this park for many many years and will continue to do so. Thank you cotton tree.
