Originally built in 1938 as a tourist attraction and rebuilt by the Army in 1982, the bridge showcases South Gippsland's giant Mountain Ash trees, beautiful fern gullies, and ancient myrtle beeches. The 1.9-mile loop trail near Balook takes an average of one hour and is moderately challenging with free parking.
