I gave the caravan park multiple chances to rectify this situation before I left a bad review, however I have heard nothing despite multiple calls so I am left with no choice but to leave a review. This place is absolutely terrible. We stayed as a one night stop over on the way to Perth. We entered our cabin and were immediately met with a terrible smell, covered up with a 240v scent plug in. The smell was so terrible that I went desperately searching for the source of the smell. I ended up finding it under the bed. Two dirty nappies containing waste (faeces) under the bed, along with other rubbish, and similar human waste rubbed on the valance of the bed. The smell was horrendous. We cleaned this up, and called the after hours number multiple times with no response. The smell lingered in the room so badly that we almost left, however as we were travelling with kids, we decided to stay for safety to avoid driving at night. I have called, left messages, with no response. Absolutely awful stay. Stay elsewhere if you donβt want to be cleaning up dirty nappies

Spent 4 nights in this caravan park. Loved its proximity to town, only a 5 minute walk to shops, cafes and supermarkets. The park is well maintained, with a lovely swimming pool. Reception was friendly and professional. The amenities were clean with the added bonus of ensuite bathrooms. Through the week, food vans visit the park. We enjoyed Miss Fangs Asian cuisine and excellent fish and chips on Tuesday night. Sitting around the campfire with fellow travellers is always lovely. Donβt be put off with the alcohol restrictions, as Tourists are exempt. Highly recommend this park.

I was in unpleasantly suprised that there was a 240volt fragrance burner going when I entered the donga. The fragrance was disgusting. I had to remove the burner and place it outside of the donga, then had to open the 2 windows, turn the AC on full and sit in the car for an hour until the disgusting smell eased. The remnants of the smell were still in the room and in my clothes the next day. I'm surprised that this would happen in Australia, the only places that I experience cheap fragrances like this these days is in 3rd world countries. Aside from that, to pay $150 for a donga without a bathroom seems very expensive, perhaps that's the going rate in Carnarvon. I would have given 1 star except the reception staff were excellent and I had stayed 1 night the previous week in my caravan on an unpowered site which was fine.

The park was spotless , amenities fabulous, pool lovely, sites generous . I didnβt use the camp kitchen so I canβt rate that . Staff were super friendly. About 500m walk from shops and cafes. A thoroughly great caravan park.

Great park but you will need to be pretty self sufficient, basic amenities including inside the rooms. Dont get me wrong this is a good park if you need somewhere to stay and arenβt expecting anything full on. Staff seemed really nice too, would be awesome if it was more secure with gates etc Will definitely visit again though.
